through an unfortunate coincidence...

On February 29, we had some friends over for dinner. I got out a puzzle that S had never done, since both he and the friends' younger child love puzzles.
It's a puzzle entitled "Pirate's Bounty".
The effects on my mental soundtrack have been somewhat unfortunate, if predictable.
ETA: What's worse is that the pirate is holding a parrot. And S likes to put together the pirate (and parrot) first. And somehow the pirate/parrot similarity sends me spinning off on orphan/often. He's started the thing twice more this weekend, and finished it once more, which means that the associations are getting stronger and stronger.

I really miss living in a place with 2 or 3 (or even one) good G&S ensembles around.
